I'm not going to pronounce it great as I've not bought it yet, but I am very much looking forward to getting to the shops at the weekend for the Last Shadow Puppets album.

Its Alex Turner's (Artic Monkeys) side project. I got the single last week and its quality.

I'm with HKFC on this one. Last Shadow Puppets will be album of the year by a country mile. The bits and bobs I've heard off it sound great, and the single is the first thing I've heard in years (maybe a slight overstatement) that on first radio play made me go "Wow!" (not the biggest Arctic Monkeys fan either btw)

Glasvegas will be second...

'Brain Thrust Mastery' - We Are Scientists
Not as good as their last/debut, but a decent follow up.
Not heard Elbow's all the way through yet but what i have heard is very impressive.
Anyone else recommend the Last Shadow Puppet's one, the single they put out sounded very 60's(a good thing IMO)
