What is the best album ever and what is your favourite?

The best? The one that springs to mind for me would be London Calling by The Clash but my favourite is Sound Affects by The Jam or The Who Live at Leeds.

Yeah, we can dig out the thread from a few months ago and then the one a few months before that and then the one a few months before that, etc, etc. I bet they are all started by Richie Morris as well!!!

Anyway, best & favourite album: The Stone Roses.

Albion, England & Stone Roses forever.

Almost identical to the post I was going to write Thimble, the only difference being that the album nomination in this case goes to 'Rum, Sodomy & The Lash' by The Pogues.

Its not a studio album entirely, but none of the tracks had been released in that form on CD in the UK yet

New Order - Substance 1987

First CD appearance of Blue Monday, True Faith, Temptation, etc. First ever appearance of True Faith to be accurate, arguably 1987's best track and one of the best music videos of all time
