The early photos of Ward and Sayer reind me being quite shocked as 7 year old that players would get their hair permed! In my mind a whole bunch of players seemed to return after a close season with the same hair! O'Sullivan, Rollings, Foster all guilty of that hair "crime" as I perceived it!

Pretty boys can get away with things like that on TOTP, but its not a good look for those with a more 'agricultural' aesthetic !
