Anyone watching this on Sky Sports 2, how good and co-ordinated is their group chants and the actions with them where at one point they all bob up and down with their backs to the pitch !

Quality...

Oh and Scholes has just made it 1-0

i've been there too, anything to sell you a "bargain"

It's not just about that the resorts are very good and also good value for money.

Love the place and going back October 2010

i was in kusadasi last year with the mrs on ladys beach minding our own buisness when we were approached by a" character" called ali ba ba who we soon found out ran a restaurant on the seafront , He then proceded to try and entice us to the restaurant with the offer of a few freebies

found out later that evening that he was a regular on the beach touting for buisness
if you've ever been to ladys beach you will know that the mayor of kusadasi has cracked down on the hassling of people outside the restuarants.

threat of closure for those that flout the rules

Crazy! A businessman trying to coax tourists into his resturant! The sheer audacity.

They were the same when Spurs played them in the UEFA Cup a few years back, at the end of the game, the Besiktas fans applauded the Spurs players, which lead to them throwing there shirts in the crowd. No trouble with them either.

if that's what you want to call him prowling the beach and trying to be your best mate ?

It happens all over the world. Just suck it up. Part of the experience. I am best friends (seemingly) with a large amount of people in Africa and South America. Nothing to get too worked up about and certainly not enough to spoil the day.

The atmosphere at that Besiktas game sounded IMMENSE, and the coordinated chants and mass jumping up and down was fantastic, looked like the place was absolutely rocking.

Course, we're not allowed that sort of thing in this country any more. Someone could lose an eye.
Or something.

Indeed. Das Reich perhaps needs a broader perspective.

In Kenya recently, lots of beach boys and others are trying for your money. Fair play to them, most of them live hand to mouth. They also took us out in their dugout to go snorkelling on the reef for a reasonable sum, gear included. Some will try and intimidate you, you just have to be firm. The missus traded some batteries and pens for a wrap. Its called international trade! Its just not how its down in this small island.
