I can't see him going anywhere - he's only just signed - it's rare someone moves on so quick. Chill.

Finally, a bit of sense on this thread.

He's had less than four months in the Championship. Whilst he has done very well and no doubt other clubs have noticed his performances, it isn't as if he's smashed 20 goals in half a season and Premier League clubs are going to want to throw stupid money at us to bag him.

We were all shitting ourselves after Ulloa first arrived and of course we managed to keep him here, get a full season out of him in which he helped us to the play offs, and then we took the big fat offer. I don't recall any offers being made in the Summer after he arrived and what's more the club would be fools to cash in now based on the Ulloa experience which suggests that a player becomes more valuable after proving themselves with a full season. Not to mention the fact that there'd be untold damage to the relationship with the fans, particularly after such a poor season.

So to start with it's unlikely clubs are going to be coming in with big fat offers after only 11 games in the Championship. And even if these offers did come in, the club would be foolish to sell. We've gotten rid of some wage earners to free up cash so as to bring in some better players. Getting rid of a quality new player so soon after signing him would be madness unless we were offered an insane amount of money. He hasn't done enough to have clubs making silly offers for him yet and he's under contract.

There's so little chance of him leaving right now, or even receiving bids

Anyone with an ounce of realism and perspective knows we won't be selling him this summer. However bad our transfer dealings may have been in recent windows, we haven't, and won't, sell one of our best players six months into a lengthy contract.

Regarding your Leo comparison above though, CS, always amazes me how no one ever seems to remember this happening: http://m.theargus.co.uk/sport/10647133.Deadline_Day__Albion_reject_Palace_bids_for_star_duo/
You're quite right, I had forgotten that. Probably because I just never took it seriously at the time, much like the board didn't

Got a bad feeling that Bournemouth will try to poach him, after Howe's comments about being smart with recruitment, and buying players who are not already costly premier league ones.

Not saying he isn't on their radar but there are many players who fit that bill. Albion would play hard ball though, if Howe were to chase Kayal I could see us making a good few million from the sale.

I'd say that would impress precisely 3% of our season ticket holders. The rest would be completely pissed off that we were flogging off the family silver for yet more shithouse replacements. We need to build the team around him if we're going to improve, not sell him to those tin pot tw4ts who will be back down in a year anyway (ideally).

Believe me, I'd be firmly in the 97%

I am impressed with him. He is like a Brian Horton with an extra turn of pace. A key player already. I hope he scores early on next season.

Not sure how good he is a set pieces yet?
