The club must be confident of the permit being agreed if they have issued the player holding shirt picture.
It would appear the hearing is just a box to be ticked...

I'd like to think that if they weren't at least 99% sure that he'll get a permit, they wouldn't have bothered with the announcement and shirt-holding photo.

Fingers crossed...

Just like the Sammy Lee announcement !!

I reserve the right to withhold judgement over this fella, until I've seen what he can do in the grind of a couple of championship games.....but if it's a Hughton signing, I have confidence in his ability

I'll reserve judgement until how I see him perform in a hot dog eating contest.

Oh no you don't mate. This is nsc, you decide now before he kicks a ball whether he's
A) not fit enough to ware the shirt / complete useless and doesn't give a sh*t
or
b) excellent signing /going to be a star.
then you have to stick to ur decision even if you are proved wrong. Thats just the way it is here.

I think the work permit thing should be a formality. It is quite normal to have to reapply when you switch employers when your on one. Happens to us when we employ someone on a work permit from another firm.
