Zephania's "Rong Radio" did more to advance my understanding of how the media affects our views of each other and ourselves than anything I studied in my politics degree. RIP.

I first saw Benjamin Zephaniah in 1984 at a concert in Brockwell Park. I had gone for The Damned, The Fall and to save the GLC (that went well!) but it is the memory of BZ that remains most vivid. He opened my eyes and changed the way I saw the world.
