Fiorentina are winning so surely if the "Mighty" Reds are out of the Champions League he will be sacked ?

Hope not. I'm loving the agonising demise of Liverpool, with the insane Rafa at the helm.

Brought off Bennayoun against City when they were 2-1 up, negative tactics backfiring yet again. He makes ridiculous decision after ridiculous decision. As they said in the Guardian podcast this week, sometimes it seems like he does it almost out of spite.

Can they afford the 20m to pay him off? Liverpool are in a bit of trouble at the moment. Would it surprise anyone if they did a Leeds?

Dissapointing for Liverpool and British football, only three of our clubs qualifying for the knockout stages.

Will the Liverpool fans be wearing black armbands at the weekend ?

Tremendous support from Liverpool, giving their team a rousing reception at full time despite their elimination, we could learn a lot from them.

because they managed to win their game, even if out of CL now, he'll be given a stay of execution. the fans will back him untill it looks like they wont be in CL next season, then turn against him. he'll probably walk/mutual agreement at the end of the season.

To be brutally honest I'm struggling to give a f***. I'm far more concerned with what's happening with us at the moment.

thats the point, he will leave with a near hero status (already tarnishing) rather than hang on and become their target.

Totally agree.

Although I would pay attention if Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal were all dumped out of the CL too. Can you imagine the whingeing? it would be brilliant.

Think you ll find Bennayoun got Liverpools equalizer to make it 2-2 on saturday so they were never 2-1 up

OOPS. OK well then he took off their main attacking threat to cling on to a draw in a game he HAS to be trying to win. Still negative and cautious management, still costing him points.
