I’ve just seen that Barnet have appointed Darren Currie as their new manager today and that got me to wondering if it was him? Pretty sure that we made a tidy profit on him. Did he not sign twice and one of those was the incident that you mentioned when he was in and out in the blink of an eye.....

As pointed out to me rather terseley above lolol it was someone else. Currie was with us for half a season or so and we got £250K for him so I recall. Exquisitely gifted, but a bit lazy.

Yes, we sold Holsgrove to Hibs for a reported £100k a few weeks after getting him on a free. I remember seeing him play for us in a pre-season friendly against Lewes at the Dripping Pan.
