Quite clearly it's that the other thread says that Arsenal are looking to him to score them goals. Seems unlikely he could do that whilst playing for palace, so one of the threads is wrong.
Why is he a good signing. He's hardly set the premier league alight. His record is less than a goal every 4 games and that's playing in a team with fantastic players creating chances. He won't get that service at Palace. So, will his 10 goals this season keep Palace up!!!!!!

Not really. Both threads are accurate. Wenger said what he said earlier but since then SSN have said their sources report that palace are now in for him.
Probably a bit of tactical talk going on with Wenger this morning saying he still has a role to play. Making potential clubs move a bit quicker. May have worked for him.
