England player falls out with management.
Pffffft.......
This'll never compete with the traditional in house implosion of the Dutch squad of old.

I always thought BW looked homesick!

He possibly raised the question of why he wasn't getting any game time considering he is playing a vital part of the defence for the side sitting top of the league. Missing out on a space to a guy who hasn't played since Gross beat him for pace back in August and a sub appearance from Dier ahead of him

Sounds like a total bollocks story.

The bit where it says "failed to mix with the rest of the squad" sounds completely made up given his bessie mate Kalvin Phillips is there, and it was only last year he went on holiday with Grealish, Mount and others. He clearly gets on very well with Aaron Ramsdale as seen from various interviews together and other social media posts. Presumably, he gets on well enough with Saka given they're also teammates back home.

England is facing a quarter final match so the trash newspapers start undermining the team. Quelle surprise.

Arsenal fans are standing up for him, from those who are trying to say he is hard to manage. He was never hard to manage here at the Albion, so I would agree with them.

In which case he was rightly sent home.

I agree he should be playing, but if anything like that did happen he shouldn’t be round the squad, I’d rather the manager concentrate on 7 games than dealing with brats.

BW definitely comes across as a bit of an introvert and his own man; the squad is (inevitably) made up of all personality types. You look at some of the WAGs as well and think some of them must dread having to spend time with the other wives/girlfriends, especially on a campus style set up where you’re probably encouraged to all bond and ‘get along.’

Surely we're not thinking the maybe the Mail have made something up for clicks and to stir the pot?

The Daily Mail? They'd never do that.

Clickbait, I know, but I was drawn to this Arsenal-related story:

'Paul Merson fears Premier League leaders Arsenal will miss out on top-four unless they sign Man Utd target Cody Gakpo'

Really? REALLY?

Interesting that he apparently didn’t know enough about the USA team and tactics. Didn’t he once say he had no interest in football other than playing and never watched games? Or did I just make that up?

Didn't BZ say something similar? Along the lines of him having no interest in football other than playing.

Yup - he did

You've failed to mention either of the Harry's?

Exactly, whether or not he should be playing isn't his decision to make. An old fashioned viewpoint perhaps, but it should be an honour to simply be selected for the squad.
