You're welcome. I'm so glad I made the effort you old Grinch. As it happens, I simply can;t work out how to add a post on here. I've tried lots of routes and always end up with a link. I humbly apologise that my lack of twitter skills have got on your tits, given how sensitive they appear to be.

Come on, CBH, I have faith in you!

Click anywhere on a tweet:-

...just copy that number and post it on here between the TWEET tags, as Dick Head previously posted:-

Serious question.

Do you still think Ben wants to leave us?

If he wants to stay, why doesn't he sign a new contract?

Surely that would be an indication of it?

I don't think any footballer has any loyalty to any club. None of them "want to" be anywhere. He will play for the biggest club for the highest wages he can. That is the long and short of it.

The argument between Brighton and Leeds over White makes me think of two bald men arguing over a comb.

He will sign a new contract, but there’s no rush on our part. That’s the key factor here.

As you think he wants to leave, then why doesn’t he put in a transfer request? Explain that.

No you're right of course. No loyalty apart from today from one of the best centre backs in England has just signed a new contract with the club he's been with since a youngster amid rumours of a move to a big team.

Let me see if I can help you here......

Imagine it is June 2019; a Premier League club is interested in purchasing a player from another club - Leeds slap huge £30m asking price on star man amid Villa links

Fast forward a couple of weeks, and the owning club begins contract talks with said player - Leeds United open contract talks with midfielder Kalvin Phillips

A couple of months go by, the player stays where he is, and a new contract is signed - Kalvin Phillips: Leeds United midfielder signs new contract

Does this help?

:lol::lol:

So just over two months from the beginning of contract talks (made public) to get the signature, amid rumours of move to Villa.

It's a shame you have to actually spell out how contract negotiations work, with sources!

If bucketman wants to stay, why has he not signed a new contract? Surely that means he wants out. Just like you say we do not need to rush with Whites contract, however Leeds do not have the time. Hopefully we have seen the last of @KillerWhale.

So why the repeated cries from your club-footed, putty-brained fellow fans claiming he 'wants' to join them?

He wants to stay which is why he’s bought a house close our training ground. Contract negotiations are ongoing. We’re not arguing with Leeds. All Brighton have said is he’s not for sale.

What have Leeds learnt from this ?

Fascinating that a club 16 years out of the PL went public regarding their desire to sign a player from a club already in it.

What, like the first one presented to him? Maybe the second.

Do you accept the first offer you receive when you're selling a property?

He's a young player on a modest contract who has seen his stock rise significantly over the last year or so (how could it not when he's been coached at close quarters by the best football coach in the whole wide world ever). He and his agent will be playing hardball on their next deal, and rightly so.
