Leeds United have made a third bid for Brighton defender Ben White.

The offer is believed to be £25m, for the centre-back who was on loan at Elland Road last season.
Brighton have previously rejected bids of £18.5m & £22m from Leeds.

What is the ****ing point?! Waste of everyones time.

I don’t actually care if he stays, goes there or anywhere else as long as it’s for the right money. If they really, truly want him as much as they say they do, they need to stop pissing around and put in a sensible offer that might tempt us.

Did they not pay attention during the Dale Stephens to Burnley saga. FFS he has the same agent as Stephens who must know that slight increments on the fee offered will end in failure. If they really want him they need to be starting at at least 30 million not creeping up from 20. I’m sure TB will let him go if the figure is daft

If Leeds have made a third bid, surely this is their last one as they know they’ll need to move on soon.. or are they at panic stations knowing that other targets are looking more expensive than they thought.
Re the contract offers, I bet this is bollocks as why are we in such a hurry to keep giving him these offers. We have him on a three year contract (two plus an extra years option).
If your bargaining position isn’t determined by A timeframe ( like ours isn’t) then we can take our time.

The Albion hold ALL the cards in this saga. Leeds fans just can’t accept that L’il ole Brighton can and are calling the shots. Loving it personally.

I guess Leeds can’t know how the rest of their budget can be used when they are throwing so much at an attempt to sign White which may or may not come off. If we take it to the 11th hour their transfer business is very fecked isn’t it?
