Interesting time of the day to do that (nighttime). On Instagram as well I think.

Could it be there’s news of a contract tomorrow.

Just something doing their job and I'm not sure a Social Media Manager for a Premier League Club works 9-5. Lovely interchange from him on Twitter with a Leeds fan.

They were worried that the club had unfollowed him, but he has calmed them down effectively pointing out they don't follow other team players.

:lolol:

He's the Leeds social media manager apparently.

Fluck knows what's going on. ???

He quite obviously does. Things to do tonight, check I havent got a Zoom call at 7, lock the back door, stop following other teams players, reply to questions on Twitter asking why I have stopped following others teams players.

Spot the inconsistency:

Valued at 40million

Being offered 20k a week to sign a new contract

So, are you selling him or keeping him, as tbh it's not quite clear.

Valued at 40 million by whom? The Sun and Daily Mirror?, we've consistently said "He's NOT for sale", before he kicked a ball for you, at every stage, with every bid. He's not for sale.

20k a week? were you there? or is that also more speculative Newspaper talk? There isn't a single thing that's official, its all paper speculation, referring to Phil Hay and Andy Naylor article in Athletic? our guy Naylor says Hay wrote it mainly and has distanced himself from that speculation.

Selling or Keeping? Isn't it obvious Headliner, we've carefully managed his development, using lower league clubs (hurts I know) to get him to our PL squad. We've never once put a price on him, we've told anyone whose ever tried to buy him, he's not for sale. Maybe sometime the penny will finally drop. Its patently clear...... unless you believe the narratives, titbits, guesses and down right fantasies on Waccoe.

The only bugbear I have is how Leeds United fans in droves are quoting unsubstantiated media reports as fact.

Who said £40m ?

Can you confirm £20k a week ?

And all the business about Albion's finances without any evidence.

It's like collectively everyone has swallowed copies of the red tops. So here are the facts.

Ben White is back at Brighton. He has bought property locally.

Their intention is not to sell his contract. Although doubtless a huge offer (and we don't know their valuation) may sway them.

Brighton are under no pressure to ship players out but indications are there may be some movement.

Beyond that, no-one (except the club) knows nowt.

Potter came out and said long ago he's our player and he's looking forward to working with him.

So he's never been for sale for Leeds to think they can buy him.

The whole no buy option in his loan contract should have been the hint over 12 months ago.

I'm surprised they want him. Bielsa can just make another defender surely?

Spot the fool that’s quoting social media speculation as facts.........?

We haven’t valued him at 40m - we haven’t put a price on him....

You have literally NO idea what contract offers he’s had (if any). Neither do we. The club almost NEVER publish or comment on anything financial. Even all our transfer deals are almost always for an ‘undisclosed fee’.

What is unclear about ‘he’s not for sale’ exactly?

Sale

Unreal that Leeds fans cannot get that into their thick heads. We haven't valued him at anything ffs. If a top club comes in with a massive bid, we'd rethink I'm sure, but he's not for sale otherwise. Certainly not to a likely bottom half rival.

Where do you get this info from?
And where are these imaginary rules that a contract has to align with an imaginary value suggest by a tabloid?

I have just seen a tweet that said that Leeds have just unfollowed Ben White. So I looked, They follow 77 accounts and I can't see Ben White there. Hopefully they have finally got the hint.
