Fantastic signing. Two footed and for a small chap good with his head. He can score all different kind of goals. Mix that in with some good quality goal celebrations and you have a superb signing. Only 23 also. Actually he had his birthday a couple of days ago. Now 24.

A positive Spence post. Chickens teeth come to mind! Savour the moment!

He seems to enjoy celebrating against Leeds. :D

Superb photo.

A young Gary Numan top left there, giving the Vs, one of The Proclaimers top centre, looking confused, Smug Eddie in a white shit and with lockdown hair and Greg Wallace, just left of Maupay, looking pretty happy with the situation (probably just had a pie).

1) We have 19 year old Ryan Edmondson on loan and 27yr old De bock are the notable ones. The one that has a future is Edmondson the other is running down his contract and will be released. The point is our future youth of 19+ have all had first team league game time, Shackleton has already had 41 appearances at 19 years old, Edmondson has had game time this season too. White was 21 when he came to Leeds and you never gave him one game. Our average age of our first team is 24, Yours is close to 27. Had White been around 19yrs old I would get it but he was 21 and lets be honest you already have some centre backs in front of him so he had no chance last season to try and force competition. Apparently Potter is still wanting to take a look at him in pre season before he decides to give White a better contract, is this true?

2)You don't need to worry about Bielsa. He is not stalling on any contract, its just not top of his list right now as he wanted to put his team first to enjoy promotion. If he had no intentions of signing he would have already gone but he is still in Wetherby having photos with the fans and training his team. He is signing no need to be threatened about that.

God. You’re right. We don’t like Ben White, he wants to play for Leeds not us. We should do the decent thing and just give him to you because, clearly, we’d forgotten we had him until Malvinas Bellsenda spotted him crying at the bus stop outside the Amex wearing a Leeds shirt and trying to find a new Bezzie mate..possibly one with a man bun and hipster beard called Kalvin.

You, sir, are a tool.

It was only 100 million until Bielsa started work on it.

Are you actually plucking figures out of the air :lolol:
You will find its a lot more than that as quoted on various platforms including the Yorkshire Evening Post unless you think that paper is 'deluded' as well.

You have just contradicted yourself. So you will probably sign 3 or 4 players whilst you are also implying that Leeds will only have this team but now without White? You do know we now have around £180m in promotion money now. Leeds are not daft and will have to sign players to compete. Bielsa will attract decent stock without costing the earth. Spending £100m doesn't guarantee you success, any Villa fan will tell you that.

There's no such thing. At the end of the season there are payments made on league position, so any money spent will have to be found up front. This is against the backdrop of zero matchday revenue (which affects existing PL teams, but less so as we've been paid the TV money from last season).

It would be normal also for the Championship players to have promotion clauses in their contracts guaranteeing wage increases, or if not, they are going to have agents banging on the door asking why their client is still on Championship wages.

I don't think Leeds, or the other promoted teams will have loads to spend. All three will be in a relegation fight. Of course, Bielsa has good stock at the moment and yes, he might be able to attract a few decent players there. I'll predict though that on Deadline day, Leeds will only have a couple of points and will struggle to attract anyone but mercenaries. Leeds should be getting them in now, but it's hard. The likes of Villa, Newcastle will offer twice what Leeds can if a really desirable player comes on the market.

How much do you actually think it is?!!

Who knows for sure but you haven't got it yet and it gets released in tranches throughout the season so actually you haven't got it to spend yet. I'll help you understand, Its like you claiming you've got £100 pocket money but are factoring in 6 months of advance pocket money.

Just under Gary Numan's V salute, is that Zidane scouting Maupay?

And a very angry red faced midget having a tussle with a steward, who happens to be a fellow midget. Bottom right.

Its surprising just how popular the 2 fingered V still is these days, well outnumbering the solitary middle finger and a couple of wanker hands, one lads is doing an impressive twin Vee and few have got completely confused and gone with a totally unoffensive pointy index finger.

Im aware of how it works but we do have a transfer plan similar to Sheffield Utd. They seemed to have done something better than you. You're banging on about your great youth system but when are we going to see a top 10 Brighton? Will this all suddenly click this season whilst Leeds hover around the relegation zone. I can't predict this season but i've a hunch we will do ok. Let's see if you can beat 15th position :lolol:

Well spotted!

I think that's Stevie Mac in a nice blue anorak (with pork pie face and hair island) top right as well. Clearly a few (ex) international managers in attendance that day.

And Fulham. They’re still kyboshed by the £110million they spunked when they last graced the PL.

£180m is what is quoted for promotion to the PL. However, that includes the parachute payments if/when you get relegated.
Factor in the increase in wages, the promotion bonuses, the cost of getting your ground up to PL standard it is nowhere near £180m.

No wonder Leeds got into trouble last time you were in the PL. You're all as thick as mince.
