It’s a shame there was no Eurovision Song Contest this year, you were in with a shout there. So, you're not going to support my campaign for song of the year at next year's grammys?

The long and the short of it who the F**k knows.
Well done you, now why didn't we think of that?
So, you're not going to support my campaign for song of the year at next year's grammys?
Only going by this one post, but you seem to get upset by transfer speculation?
I've seen a few other Brighton fans getting upset with fellow Brighton fans for having a laugh at Leeds?
Another one I've recently noticed is people slaggibg off anything football which is linked with social media whilst on a football forum?
A lot of stressed out souls on here right now projecting all their issues through patronising advice. More concerning is they all seem to be around the 50 year old mark playing these sad games.
NSC was so much better when it didn't have all these old geezers hunting out thumbs up off each other. #getridofthethumbsupcrap
40m in the kitty would be more exciting than keeping White. We could buy a shit-off-the-shovel LB, and younger version of Murray and still have change left over to buy another 5 CBs for the U23s.
OK, it becomes clearer.I imagine I can guess what this particular spanner is alluding to.
It’s widely reported that Ben White was oop Yorkshire way the other night, staying with his gf, for her Dad’s birthday celebrations. Now, her old man, amongst this entire shitfest, seems one of the prize twats. He’s die-hard Leeds, and has done his daughter’s partner no favours at all, by getting noisy on social media. I’m sure he’s excited by suddenly being the centre of attention, but it’s massively shitty, and I imagine White thinks he’s a prick.
No doubt, at the festivities, he’s embarrassed the young lad with a song, or a chant, or cajoled him into agreeing that ‘WALAW?’ White will have played along either out of embarrassment, or being a little tipsy, or because he didn’t want to sleep on the sofa.
Your fat twitter mate, there has been party to all that, is my guess [emoji106]
If Brighton do not wish to sell, White faces being a squad player on what we think is 5K a week for the forseeable. His value falls dramatically. I'm pretty sure he would have a good attitude and push for first team football. His value will both rise and fall based on performance levels and the remaining length of his contract. Unless he becomes a regular at Brighton, and shows he has the quality required at PL level, you'd have to suggest this time next year he'll be worth 8-10million. Success on the pitch and regular game time, could push his value to 40million in that same time frame.
I've got my head a little around what I think a present value is now, trying to look from both sides. A fixed sum plus add on's up to 29million (international recognition, club games). Then throw in a 20% sell on clause. In many ways it is an outrageous sum for a player with his present experience. He is important to Bielsa but it does get to a point where you think . . . there is another player who can do this job . . . and let's not be naive, there always is (if your club is well run) a list of alternatives at hand.
Is he really that good though?

512th in 2006, his career earnings look to be about 10% of the actual top "world class" players and he's never won a meaningful title.
Granted of course that he no doubt wins all the local Sussex cups most years
Why does a lot of that sound familiar?

This has to be the funniest so far
18m rejected, 22m rejected. I reckon £22m with an extra £5m if we stay up should do it.
It’s basically the same offer.
You’d trust Leeds to honour a future financial commitment? Braver man than me
The price is £40 million minimum - which could go higher in a propper bidding war.https://www.footballinsider247.com/...big-sky-reveal/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

No need to accept £27 million today.
Let's wait and see where we are at 4:30pm on Transfer Deadline Day.
Yes fair point.Yeah, I'l give you Veltman not being a saga.
But surely Vicente and Ali J were sagas. And not just saga's but both were a SAGA for the AGES. Surely? Vicente from the sheer disbelief...he can't be, can he? Impossible! No chance. What he's been spotted in a restaurant? Clandestine photo taken? Then the agonising wait.
Ali J took several YEARS. The initial excitement. The being turned down. It's back on after several years! Is he coming? Flights tracked. He's here but in the midlands(i think....). Saga saga saga that one.
We wont suggest a price to anyone. We dont want to sell him, we will not listen to offers just rebuke them. Of course this policy is always up for flexibility if an outstanding offer came in that we just could not refuse. I think ridiculous as it may be the figure will be north of 40million. Leeds wont pay no where near that and others, Liverpool, Chelsea etc may test Bens and Brighton's resolve with a higher offer but it is an outstanding ammount for an untested Premier league player.I think Dortmund have handled the Sancho situation brilliantly. I’d say, “you’ve got till this time tomorrow to offer £35m. Otherwise we’re planning him into next season's squad and won’t consider any further offers".
