I was there yesterday in row T of the Leazes Stand,

They introduced Ben Stokes and a few others on the pitch before the match.

Then 2 minutes before KO, two blokes came to stand next to us to watch the match.
One looked, and my sight is fine, **exactly** like Ben Stokes. He was with a mate.

I didn't say anything, because it seemed too ridiculous at the time - and why would he
appear in the away end when he could be in the best seats in the house, but it seemed
too much of a coincidence. Did anyone else see this? Am I going mad?

They showed him on the telly with a small entourage, so it's unlikely, particularly as he is a cricketer for Durham too.
Just a random ginge I suppose

Possibly - but he was built like a brick sh*thouse and talked to a few people then moved off. He also had the air of
someone who wanted to keep a low profile if you know what I mean.

There was indeed a guy in the away end yesterday who looked as much like Ben Stokes as anyone could without actually being Ben Stokes! Wasn’t him though sadly.

It was probably altitude sickness. It does funny things to your mind.

He was sat behind the dugout in the Directors Box, in fact almost the same seat as I sat in last year.

Stokes was there with Mark Wood. Rory Burns was with them too. They were in the posh seats.

Ben wasn't the highlight in the Directors Box.

Someone must have a screenshot of the fella sat in front.

His hair was quite MAGNIFICENT.

I'm 99% sure I was sitting next to Dunky's Dad and younger brother last weekend against Burnley. I was sat front row of ESU Block D right on the halfway line (bloody awesome view!) and they were across the aisle.

Anyone know for sure if that's where they sit?

I saw Stokesy on the golf course on Wednesday with Buttler and Root. He’s a pretty good player.

Why do you need to know? It’s his dad and brother FFS (or not)

Maybe he is banned. He likes a ruck you know.

You are bald aren't you?

You wouldn't make that comment had you seen this chap.
I feel rather let down that a picture is yet to appear.

& no despite my age, fatigue and stress levels my hair is as glorious as it's ever been without thinning or even a hint of grey.
