Ok Ok point taken, last I heard (from a skint source) discussions were advanced with British Airways! I find that incredibly hard to believe but I've seen it pop up on here a few times already.

cant beleive BA would consider sponsoring us.. surley they would look for a better 'brand' team (prem top 6) to get maxium exposure.. either that or a team nearer their main base at heathrow (brentford/qpr)

Will probably be PKR or some other poker or casino site

Absolutely won't be unless the club can be bothered to create two versions of the shirt for sale.

You can't put a gambling logo on a childs shirt. It's against the law.

I'll laugh if it's BA and Dick Knight blames the delays on getting the shirts in the shops on them.

Personally I BLAME the Albion for using SHIT suppliers - f***ing Sports Express, Ribero and Errea. The ONLY time we had enough shirts to cover (pre season new kit) demand was when we re-used Bukta in our final Goldstone years.

Other than that its been UTTER shit and a SHAMBLES. Like trying to get served in the sportsman.

As far as I can recall, the deadline for shirts in the shop pre-season was missed ONCE. Mind you, that was missed by quite a distance. About seven weeks if I remember rightly. Perhaps someone can properly remind me... ???

Certainly it wasn't missed last time, or are you on 'Rant mode'?

Im on rant mode. Everytime there has been a new shirt I can recall ringing or popping into the club shop usually on DAY OF RELEASE and its always "oh we got the first 50 in this week all in xtra small they were sold within seconds and we should be getting the rest in ready for xmas".

Therefore I agree they do have shirts in pre season, just not enough to cope with pre season demand

Ok thats stretching the truth but it is usually along those lines and has been since about 1989 so its nothing new but you think SOMEONE (whoever orders supplies) would have realised by now.

Is bollocks, Maracus.

Plenty of shirts in stock in time for the start of the season last time.

Ya big window-shopping prima donna nancy, you.

As a former AX Exec, I can 100% confirm that AX is true blue.....as in Chelsea. The top dog who lives in London has a box for clients. I asked him about sponsoring the Albion a few years ago and he just laughed. I'd be super surprised if that has changed............Football is too blue collar (no pun intended) for them. Golf is in their sweet spot...a la Tiger Woods. I can see them more into Cricket than Football.
