I remember reading something by a biologist who didn't have an axe to grind, he said the nature/nurture arguement was obsolete and misguided. a bit like asking how high can a penguin fly.

There Ive been sensible in my responce, now f*** off 1066 you perpetual knobjocky. Who in there right mind opens threads about faggotry on a saturday night unless there gagging for some man meat.

I am surprise no one has mentioned Brighton & Hove councillor Peter Willows's gay jibes featured on the front page of today's Argus bearing in mind his apparent anti Falmer stance.

Check out http://www.theargus.co.uk/the_argus/news_extra/in_depth/falmer_stadium/fans_messages4.html which quotes: Playing at Withdean every other week, this club does not break even.
Councillor Peter Willows, Hangleton Valley Drive, Hove.

I am not sure on this but my dad reckoned he played years ago maybe as a school boy for Notts County.

I agree, its genetic. Why would anybody let alone millions chose a life style choice vilified by so many if they could chose ? I don't understand how some religions think that homosexuality can be 'trained' out of a person, they are what they are and no amount of prayer will change that unless they are prepared to live (and suffer) a lie.

Agree there. Even though I kind of believe in religion.

Well, well chaps, well done. Its obviously pick on 1066 night. The bloke asks a simple question on a day where there are several threads saying how bored and fed up people are and the way you solve it ? Pick on the youngest and the softest target.

You're pathetic, I can see why the bloke is pissed off but I doubt that he'll back down and flounce.

Leave the poor sod alone.

My dog likes to shag other dogs ears, spaniels mostly. He doesn't care what sex they are. And he once spent an embarrassing afternoon at the in laws getting fresh with my sister ln laws male scottie dog. They didn't go at it, just sort of nuzzled and licked and fell in love.
My dog is an English Bull Terrier and he's had his bits lopped off.

In answer to your question 1066, I think that you (one) is either gay or not or bi or not. Its just the way you (one) are.

And so what if you're asking questions like this. Chill out people, no-one's gonna come round and bum you.

:p

Its all chance as far as I can tell. It's nature or/and nurture. Events can lead you there or it's just the way you are. I take a Darwinist and/or Freudian stance on this. At the end of the day who cares as long as your happy. Good topic 1066.

It would be intresting to see if anywhere, in the world, there are identical twins with different sexualities as it would throw my theroy in to complete disary.

You don't have to go too far. My mate Joe, who's straight, has an identical twin who's gay.

I think your theory is now in total 'disary'.

I think its like when a kid is caught smoking and they are made to smoke the whole pack to put them off, gay people men should be made to suck so much cock that they eventually find it repulsive and become normal like the rest of us. Or they should be bummed so hard that it rams some sense into them.

it was a decent debate....until 1066 got aggressive, telling everyone to "f*** off", people rightly didn't take to kindly to that

Yes it would have been but as it was 1066 people started picking on him. As it was I can see why he got annoyed. He may have been deserving of abuse in the past but he's now trying to clean up his act so its about time people here treated him as something other than an idiot.

And no, I have never met him.

Sorry guys, don't mean to jump on the bandwagon but I think bhaexpress does have a point. If I was 1066 I would be a bit defensive as soon as people started having a pop at me and it appears the thread was started as a genuine debate.

Way out west
The problem is that if someone gets a reputation for behaving in a particular way, then changes their approach, it will take some time before they are accepted in their new guise.
