It's not a football stadium, the atmosphere is dire.
Was as bad as ever.

Strange place, and it was colder and windier on the concourse than in the stadium. It's not a football stadium, the atmosphere is dire.

4th time I've been and that was the worst atmosphere created by the home and away fans by a mile. I thought it was bad last year just after new year but Saturday was much worse.Noisy ? Atmosphere was the worst I’ve experienced this season I reckon (not helped as usual by the ground layout). Home and away fans all quiet.
The upper tier was like a sponsored silence.
We sang a bit up on the gods.....and apparently we could be heard on the telly.Noisy ? Atmosphere was the worst I’ve experienced this season I reckon (not helped as usual by the ground layout). Home and away fans all quiet.
Was quite loud on my Peacock stream, maybe Mic placement?Noisy ? Atmosphere was the worst I’ve experienced this season I reckon (not helped as usual by the ground layout). Home and away fans all quiet.
No tonsure hereWere you the 'wiggy' they were taunting or are you naturally hirsute?
How about doing the right thing without being asked? Just a thought.Yes, a recent phenomenon. If the stewards at Fulham had asked people to keep the aisles clear I’m sure we’d have done that. We’re a reasonably compliant, friendly and sociable bunch
I remember doing one at School. As you can imagine, it went as well as you would expect and lasted about 20 seconds.Got to admit I had to have a quick look how that differed from any other type of silence

It was awful in the ground. Never really got anything going - first half didn’t helpWas quite loud on my Peacock stream, maybe Mic placement?
Surely this should be taken into account when moving the away fans at the Amex. Split them up over the lower, upper and corner tiers.4th time I've been and that was the worst atmosphere created by the home and away fans by a mile. I bought a 'singing' ticket but the atmosphere in that stadium is shiteSurely this should be taken into account when moving the away fans at the Amex. Split them up over the lower, upper and corner tiers.
I was front row at West Ham and looking back the upper seemed so far away. As for singing, I'm up for it but spread out over a vast distance meant there seemed to be no 'blocks' of singers. Maybe we took the email too far and all sat in our correct seats.
ps my ticket from last year showed up in my wallet and I reckon, having got into the ground, I could have flashed it to get into the wrong stand.
Very much this. I really cannot imagine any of the fans I know “spontaneously” throwing a drink in the air and going ker-a-zeee apeshit over an early season equalizer at Fulham. It’s all very contrived and plastic for me.100% this and pint luzzing is basically the sheep in our fan base following social media trends.
I’ve watched far more important football matches than Brighton against Fulham or Leicester and never felt the urge to throw myself over other people
Well? Did everyone behave?
In terms of getting to and from the ground, I decided to walk from Mile End. It's 1.75 miles in total *but*, of that, 0.5 mile of that is walkingI was speaking to a few old WHU fans before the game in Farringdon, to a man they HATE their ground and said that it's pretty much every fan that feels like this. Said they felt betrayed by the club and apparently Brady cannot walk to/from the ground as she is detested by most fans, who blame her for the stadium move (just what they said). The main reasons they gave were the crap atmosphere and rip off prices. Certainly at 5pm I strongly agreed with them on both points!!
