See they went with the big boys when it comes to researching this stuff.

According to the casino website Top10Casinos, the average price for the upcoming season is £4.09.

Really? Never paid £6.00 for a pint even in 1901, where do they get this info from? Unless there is a massive rise this year?

Who buys over priced beer at the stadium anyway? Usually have a couple in my local before going to a game (at £4 a pint), and then just wait to have a couple more on the return journey.

£5.40 for Harveys I think last season, anticipating price rises this season.

Pretty standard pub prices for most of Brighton.

Better than the warm lager in plastic bottles at some away grounds.

Christ, have I been away that long? I wouldn't be able to afford a night out at that rate. £2.30/pint when we moved the the Amex!

And in the real world, a pint at the Amex is not £6. Throws into doubt the veracity of the rest of the survey!!!

And yet each individual Opal Fruit is - explain that.

Not sure if it has changed now- but when I went to City their outdoor pre-match area with the big screens was a funny setup. Non-drinkers feee to roam, but it looked like the drinkers were jammed into a small Harris fence area in front of the bar - a bit like caged animals!

Amex drinkers more trusted it seems - now we just need a couple of portaloos and the ale-swilling proletariat will have gained full parity with their abstaining brothers.
