It shouldn't be a strong smell though if you are drinking enough water. it should just be clear and pretty odourless. Certain food and drink will affect it obviously.

Stale urine is the stuff that stinks in men's urinals - its actually the active bacteria, I was told, when I asked in a bar in Cape Town why there was a bucketful of ice in the urinals - its to slow the bacteria growth down, thus preventing stinky-bog smells during hot weather - simples.
