Not actually a deliberate wind up.

AS Roma, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea (don't hold that one against me, there was a valid reason at the time), Internazionale, LA Galaxy, Man Utd, Newcastle, Real Madrid, Rochdale, Swindon, Tottenham. 12!
To say that my attitude toward football is different to most peoples would be an understatement. I've been to see (and "support") Brighton, Darlington, Newcastle, Rochdale, Swindon and Tottenham live.

I understand why people have the odd shirt of a foreign team they have watched, but if you are a Brighton fan, why on earth would you have shirts of other English teams?

I can't stand him, the shifty old bastard.

There are so many reasons why, I can't even be bothered to type them, suffice it to say I am looking forward to his date in court this year, then maybe some of the myths he surrounds himself with will finally be exploded.

Through the internet I know a lot of people, and have been to see many a game with these people. The weekend I saw Newcastle and Darlington both play was fantastic, really gives you a different perspective. I've been a Brighton fan all my life but I'm not going to limit myself to JUST watching the Albion, just because that's what people expect.

Watching is one thing, I think the question was about owning other shirts.

It's a shirt. Nothing more. When going to see other clubs, I quite like wearing the shirt. I never go to a Brighton game without a replica shirt, and I don't like going to other games without one. The only game I've been to where I've not worn a shirt of the team I was supporting, was the Darlington game last season.

Watching other teams I get, have watched Aldershot on and off over the years and the odd Dundee Utd game, but wearing another teams shirt I do not understand, although wearing any football shirt is a bit odd really.

Orient boy gone glory hunting isn't he? I reckon he should finish his career back there.

Am I the only person on this board who doesn't wank off over Beckham?

No you're not, Icy. I wish I could shove Brand Beckham firmly up his backside, quite honestly. I'd do the same to his lovely wife, but I fear she'd snap in two.

Arry has already said that he will not be gauranteed a starting place but he would be good as a squad player and as an influence to help both Lennon and Bale with their cossing etc. As regrads the Olympics he is being touted as to be the captain of the Great Britain team with old past it internationals like Sol Campbell with Fergiue as manager so if this happens he would be in an ideal positiopn to light the flame in London.

As regards Arry and his court case there is 2 ways to look at it either the CPS know they are on dodgy ground as they took a long time to bring charges against him or they wanted to make sure they had a case. Having known his dad, who was a docker, as a regular in one of my early pubs, and he wasnt short of a few scams I would think that it may have rubbed off on him so I am not sure which side of the legal fence I would stand on it. Something tells me he will walk free.

Why do you have to be limited to just one club? There are 92 clubs in the football league in England, why should you just restrict yourself to just one? Besides, my dad is a Liverpool fan so I grew up with Sky TV aswell as going to the Priestfield with my stepdad. I've always hated the "love one club, hate the rest" mentality.

I don't hate the rest, the majority of teams I have no feeling towards, it just wouldn't feel right to me wearing another clubs shirt. Its nothing against you as we obviously have differing opinions which is fair enough.

Safe to say we've had a very different upbringing with regards to football, I don't expect anyone else to follow football the same way I do. You might be suprised at the lengths you go to when you meet someone who changes your life, though.

I’m sure Beckham would rather be playing in the Premiership than MLS in the States. He also clearly likes the West Coast lifestyle and his US celebrity status and was considering becoming a US citizen. LA Galaxy never really panned out the way he imagined and his impact on soccer in the States has been minimal. He needs to decide what he wants out of life and if he wants to live in the UK or the States because at the moment he comes over as somewhat mercenary.
