Good move for him. Really don't think he'll be all that in the Premiership though. Have always thought he was overrated, but now we'll see how good he really is

I'm going to go against you all and say I think he will do okay, not sure why, but there is something about the guy that makes me think he will score goals at every level.

I agree that this seems a big step up for him,but that's what happens when he signs for a big club.

On top of not being good enough, IMHO, he has a piss poor attitude and by all accounts is a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic.

Can't believe it's a 4 year deal. BIG flop.

If Yakubu and Louis Saha stay fit i can't see him breaking into the team. David Moyes is a shrewd manager though and will get the best out of him.

Moyes has done a tremendous job with the lack of money he has had over the years compared to similar standard clubs. This signing is probably another sign that he doesn't have a big budget again this summer.

Think Moyes could develop him into a top premiership player though..
