Because of Boxing Day......

Not satisfied with so far this year sponsoring Albion Star Youth FC u-9s, and a pair of holes at the annual REMF Charity Golf Day in June, the syndicate is now sponsoring a race at Hove Corals Stadium on Boxing Day.

The doors open at 9.30 and the first race is at 10.30.
We are sponsoring the second race at 10.44 which means that NSC GREYHOUND SYNDICATE will be presenting the trophy to the winner of that race.

So a great opportunity for the members of the syndicate to wear their new Seagulls fleece/jumper/coat/scarves or whatever Santa brings and try and get in front of Mark in the presentation picture.

With The Albion not playing, the Albion greyhounds are flying the flag and ALL THREE are planned to run at the hugely popular Boxing Day meeting.

This is a very popular meeting, so you might consider booking a table. It will be important for us to maximise the Owners Passes, so if you have one, and you can't get to this meeting, please let us know and give it to someone who can.

Definitely me + 1 going to be there, can we meet one of you outside to get in with a pass - hope those that went to the kennels this morning had a good time, I have a prior engagement so couldn't go unfortunately.

Yes no worries Gaz and I had a great time at the kennels this morning thank you, walked a new bitch they have just got in, that has tremendous breeding,she has the same sire as Benny, only a pup just been schooled and will be trialing at the track in early Jan, one for us to keep our eye on.

Apparently 1600 people at the track today to watch Lara swoop to another success, leaving it to well into the home straight to win by 3/4 length and thankyou to those that backed the 2 dog in the race as Lara went on the drift from 6/4 fav out to 2/1 and some of us getting 9/4, Joe was very unlucky in his race getting baulked at 3 bends and having to check each time, although he was never gona be on the pace at the speed that race was won at. But another great day had by all.

For our presentation in race two there were five of us up on the podium and [MENTION=17076]hola gus[/MENTION] did the honours and for Lara's win there were about 8 of us up there. I don't have any photos of the presentations as I was up there so it would be good if we could have some of the official ones that were taken. We probably only need a small number as I can scan them to put them online. Is that something you can sort [MENTION=15613]prawnsarnies[/MENTION] next time you are down there?
