Be nice to Wolves fans

Let's be gracious in reaching the playoffs and not gloat over Wolves likely relegation. We don't want to wind them up in to a pitch invasion or any other trouble as we still need our pitch in decent nick for our home leg. Don't really want to hear chants of 'Going down' or 'you're Sh1t and you know you are' or any of our other mocking chants. Lets just glory in our own achievement with some good old triumphalism and thank the Wolves fans for coming with a bit of applause.

Do you think we should bake them some nice fairy cakes and hand them out for free? Maybe we should get a massive banner in the North Stand saying " PLEASE DON'T HURT US, WE ARE JUST A BUNCH OF SCARED GAYS AND WE WISH YOU NO ILL."

F*ck it. I'm taking the piss. Otherwise what's the fun?

Exactly. The Wolves fans will be expecting it. And if there is trouble it will be the town centre that sees it, not the ground. Too many cameras these days.

Maybe we should have a group of Albion fans handing out flowers as they arrive at Brighton station welcoming them into the town, like when you get of the plane in Hawaii with those big flowered necklaces being handed out to the tourists

I agree wholeheartedly, but suspect it won't happen:thumbsup:

Ha. I thought not wanting our pitch messed up for the playoff home leg was quite a sensible point of view, But what the hey, enjoy the fun Saturday. I've certainly had a chuckle at some of the replies on here, not least the casual homophobia, using gay as a derogatory term. Or was it somehow casually ironic?

I find it quite funny that in the scenario you've described, THE PITCH is the thing you're most worried about.

Pretty sure after what happened yesterday there will be plenty of stewards around at the final whistle to stop them, just hope they don't do it during the game

I have my serious head on now that says no stewards their end at the final whistle.

It needs Edna Krabbie and her mates to be there ready for their line dance practice to ward them off.

Let the mocking begin. Here's my chant idea:

We go up,
you go down,
you'll be playing Crawley Town,
with a nick knack...

Seriously? do you really think that whatever we do/don't chant at the Wolves fans will make them more or less likely to invade the pitch? They will expect the banter but will be angry at their own team/management regardless

They will get some but that's normal. Probably want to try and have a go at Morgan more then us because he bought Wolves as LFC his boyhood club wouldn't go near him with a bargepole and did not want to sell to him.
I remember in the early eighties having some trouble with them at their place in the snow and two of us 17 year old's were chased by a group of 5 30 somethings all the way to the coach.
Always remember one of them was massive, wearing a dustman's black jacket with the plastic vinyl on the back with thick greasy black curly hair saying about going to stuff me with coal. Always thought he deserved a good kicking.
Funny thing is he is probably near 70 now!
