lineker hanson is old and tiresome now. shearer adds nothing.

as for the little black guy who cant speak english!!

itv did a gaby feature of the england camp and it was awful - but itv is better presentation and analysis, but commentators on ITV are the worst ever.

Spanish ESPN online is best - spanish nutty commentators, dont really understand them - no analysis as i make my own, and there you go.

Normally, this contest would be a no-brainer. But Chiles is much better than Lineker, and there can't be a worse pundit pair than Adebayor and Shearer, as cropped up yesterday. I'd almost rather Motson was back in the commentary box than in the studio, and that's saying something. Whose brainwave was it that once it was decided we'd all had enough of the bloke, to put him there rather than out in some pasture.

What does Shearer have in safe deposit box? He must have some very incriminating letters or photos of a senior BBC executive or producer to continue getting that pundit gig. He says nothing original, profound, entertaining or insightful yet still gets work. That night of undercover photography in the gay S&M club certainly paid dividends.

BBC all the way for me.

Whether it's the world cup, news, dramas or reality tv the BBC pulls it off with much more quality and class.

I've thought ITV was shit ever since I was a kid when the only decent kids tv shows they showed were woof and to a lesser extent fun house, I could list cbbc classics all day long.

The BBC is king and worth the tv licence on it's own.

I was drifting in and out of sofa nap + Hilltop Hospital but the commentary of Slovakia v New Zealand, seemed pretty good. It may well have been Simon Brotherton and Martin Keown.
