10 years ago, Mark Gardiner Chairman of Hastings, sacked Garry Wilson after winning 4 games on the bounce, he said "Trust my instincts, I am doing this for the good of the club"

Garry Wilson is now on the verge of taking Eastbourne Borough to the Conference while Hastings struggle in the bottom 4 of the Ryman Premier.

We would like to know what supporters believe their Chairman's biggest ever mistake was.

After 2pm Sat -

Why are the club insisting that my Season ticket renewal is the same price as 6 years ago, when 6 years ago, we had a free cup voucher worth £24 included in the package?

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

It is the same PRICE though Dave.
That is undeniable FACT.

Yes but actually it is being economical with the truth

Actually the PRICE included 23 odd games and a cup voucher for £xxx

Now the PRICE includes 23 odd games and NO cup voucher for £xxx

How is that the same?

eh eh...come on....

Mine would be Mike Bamber not even talking to Jimmy Page in 1976 about the Led Zep man becoming the majority shareholder, with the alleged offer that Bamber could remain as chairman for as long as he wanted.

A season ticket costing £400 six years ago would, as the RPI has gone up 21% in those six year cost £484 today

The PRICE is the same
The PRODUCT is not.

But the statement "our season ticket prices are the same as six years ago" is still a statement of FACT.

:)

You didn't get a DVD or money off at the club shop then. Where do we want to go with this? Price is the same, total package is different.

But then being an accountant, you knew that and were just be precipitous.

Not sure I have to the current level. Cant be bothered to check though.

And yes, yes I am. Just not practising. If you need to qualify to become something (and I have my Chartered qualifications) then yes I am still a banker.

excellent...I was unfortunately not bright enough to pass my accountancy exams and so have to rely on exaggeration and bluffing to get on in life.

Bunny on the train would have been very proud of us ( as in her eyes everyone who didnt get a degree was a waste of air!!!)

Or indeed the idea of having to PAY back money that was used on learning 'History of Art' but then went on to work in 'Retail' making no use of that learning whatsoever.
