It does have a larger than average play list.

HOWEVER, being as it is only available on crummy digital, which is only available on my telly and is constantly breaking up due to poor signal, I'll stick to BBC London.

Furthermore, the DJ's are invariably crap and it has a distinct air of hospital radio about it

Indeed, I can listen at work on the interweb, or at home on the DAB.

It's my favourite radio station at the moment, and the DJs are excellent.

BBC7 is also dead good. Use the Listen later feature for Dads Army, Steptoe, Hancocks Half Hour ..... and other prorammes that show my age .......

Speaking of the BBC. Does anyone know whats going on with the BBC Media Player.

Apparently you can watch old BBC programmes like Eastenders on it. Just wondering if anyone knows when it's launching?

XFM is quality too but 6 music seems to have a much larger playlist.

I tend to listen to Planet Rock. The only problem is, whenever the missus comes in, they are playing something like the Allman Brothers and she's convinced I'm a closet Country music fan!!!

Radio 6 is the reason I have three (count 'em) digital radio's.

One for the kitchen, one in the bedroom and a portable one for work.
