How do you use the guided missile on the tank
You need someone else to be using the recon class with one of those SOFLAM laser designators. Which, unless you're communicating with your squad mates or playing with friends, rarely happens.
That being said, they're powerful when you do get a chance to use them. For me though, the best tank perk is the shotgun shells. You can't miss.
Battlefield 3 is just sooooo bloody good. You can do such a variety of things and play in so many different styles. it pisses all over COD and, until MW3, I was a total COD lover. I reckon we should have a dedicated thread on here so we can ask questions, offer tips etc.
Anyway, I think that the guided missile can only be used against other ground vehicles, so it's of no use against men or choppers / jets. You simply aim it at an enemy tank or whatever, wait till it highlights the vehicle in a red box, then fire your missile when the beeps become a constant tone.
Can anyone help me? I usually play as Engineer class and have set my default gun as the M4A1, but every time a round starts, it gives me the AKS-74u as my default so I have to change it. Why?!? It's only a minor thing, but it REALLY annoys me, and it doesn't do it in any other class.
Any ideas?
Cheers.
Tell you what mate, why don't you check out the description of the Guided Shell on the My Soldier, Customize (sic) Loadout screen? "It is not a bad idea."Planes and heli`s can also be shot down with it, start up the thread it is not a bad idea.
