Braves take 3 of 4 at the Giants
Minnesota Twins are absolutely KILLING it this season, yet another crushing victory last night 16-7 at the Angels to go 33-16, .673 and 17 games above .500, stretching an 8 game lead over the Indians in the ALC.
They last hit 8 home runs in a game back in 1963, 56 years ago. They've now just gone and done it TWICE in 5 weeks, following a 16-7 rout in Baltimore last month.
They've become only the 2nd team in MLB history to hit multiple 8-homer games in a season (along with the Rangers). They've smashed 98 homers in 49 games.
This is so weird. The Twins are usually shithouse, now its like I've suddenly started supporting Man City.
Is very surprising but it is fun to watch. Willians Astudillo is now everyone's favourite baseball player, what he does shouldn't be possible, he's so much of an outlier with his approach its crazy, and so much fun

Meanwhile, it's The Jays vs The Orioles in the "Who's the shittest team in AL East?" playoff.
Braves back to sharing the lead with the Phillies in the NL East after beating the Pirates last night.
...and the 13 home runs that were hit jointly by my D'backs and the Phillies were a new MLB record - D-backs, Phillies set MLB record with 13 homers
The 8 homers by the D'backs set a new franchise record.
