It's Thanksgiving Day in Canada today, so what better way to spend the evening after consuming ridiculous amounts of food.

Which explains why my client there is ignoring my emails...

Hopefully tomorrow will be Bragging Rights Day..#NeverEverQuit

Betting for tonight

Los Angeles Dodgers (B Anderson) At New York Mets (M Harvey)
New York Mets (M Harvey) @ 5/9

St. Louis Cardinals (M Wacha) At Chicago Cubs (J Arrieta)
Chicago Cubs (J Arrieta) @ 4/9

Toronto Blue Jays (R Dickey) At Texas Rangers (D Holland)
Toronto Blue Jays (R Dickey) @ 8/11

Kansas City Royals (Y Ventura) At Houston Astros (McCullers)
Kansas City Royals (Y Ventura) @ 11/10

Can't bet against the Cubs ace, especially if my very modest outlay should happen to tempt fate

Now we know the bookies are rarely wrong, but I must say I was surprised at their overall WS win market.

Paddy Power are offering

Astros 4/1
Rangers 9/2
Cubs 5/1
Redbirds 11/2
Bluejays 11/2
Mets 6/1
Dodgers 6/1
Royals 10/1

This seems to be based purely on who is currently ahead in the Divisional Series, and the fact that the Astros are one game away from the LCS
Apart from that wide open

I see you can get 13/2 on the redbirds for the WS, looks a good price to me.

The Astros are now favourites for the AL - guess it reflects the Rangers needing to overcome the BJs bats, and the value of a dominating ace.

Quite a night of baseball ahead!
