We could, but we're not exactly brilliant in the transfer market.
How can we not be good in the transfer market? we signed Forster.
We could, but we're not exactly brilliant in the transfer market.
It took us about two years to do it though!! Sign a striker that is, not Forster in particular.
All the more reason for us to go to Yeovil to give a LEGEND a proper send off! All I can say is that if Bas leaves and is replaced by Revell, and O'Callaghan goes and is replaced by Fraser, then that's our chances of the play offs 100% gone, and probably a top half finish too.
Nice analogy!!
I am perfectly happy with things,
. Forget sentiment we need new players to move on.
Yes, but not at the expense of one of our more important players!
The "but" was only hypothetical though. If this squad stayed together and noone left between now and May I am 100% HAPPY. However, there is a big chance Bas could leave, and then if we didn't replace him I wouldn't be happy, because I think the alternatives we have currently aren't good enough. Also, IF he left, I am not convinced we would be able to sign anyone that good to replace him. Of course, release Bas and sign another Forster is brilliant, but in my opinion a bit unrealistic. So, let's just make sure we keep Bas! And yes, we do need new players to move on, but only at the expense of our weaker squad members, not our second best striker!
Hang on, doesn't his deal run out on the 31st January? We signed him in feb...
But working on that basis, we may as well close the board now and just leave it all to the manager/chairman/players!
And his contract DEFINITELY runs out on the 31st December, chaps.
It would be torture for them, I know. But, don't forget, it would make H Block even more of a spaz-fest on matchdays
