He was asked what’s his New Year’s resolution- he replied with a cheeky grin “get promoted- up the Posh !”

He is a character but for years I have had my doubts about him as an individual due to historic events at Peterborough that I won’t go into on here for obvious reasons.

I really like him. Remember the 'cheer up Barry Fry' song at Withdean, and he gave us all a thumbs up and smile, and we clapped him. Class.

Left Barnet for a year at rivals Maidstone in the middle of a 15 year spell at Barnet. Everyone hated him at that point. Like Hodgson turning up at the Albion ! Not sure it bothered him at all !
