He closed our Youth Academy - Etherington, Davies and Drury anyone?
Looking from the outside, that did seem to be a very strange decision.

BTW, Albion's under-17s will receive their trophy and medals at half-time of the Peterborough match. Let's give them a great reception as some of them are potential stars for us, if we can keep them away from VillaScum etc. There are even a couple of promising midfielders in there

Smashing bloke. They'll bury him with his boots on. And he's said his piece in support of the Albion. Light--hearted stick is the order of the day methinks, no matter how the game goes

I like him but agree with most other posters-I wouldn't want him as our manager
Agreed. Will never go down as one of the greatest managers ever to grace the sport, but seems like an all right sort of bloke.

Top bloke (though wouldn't want him as our manager. . . oh wait, has this been said before?)
Remember as a kid breaking my hand and having to wait for hours in Barnet General's A&E. Would have been very boring were it not for Barry Fry on the payphone very entertainingly effing and blinding as he updated someone on the other end about the latest players' injuries he was having to sort out.

Don't think it's really fair to quibble with his Barnet record since he got sacked and reinstated virtually every week by the twat that was Fat Stan Flashman, before finally having enough of it all.

Oh, and he used to play for Manchester United.
No, I can't really imagine it, either. . .

Crap manager but makes me laugh.

Towards the end of a live FA Cup draw he shouted out "Are my balls in there?" :lolol:
