You can remain curious, my reasons for leaving the UK had 0% to do with politics or politicians. In short, **** off and mind your own business.

I did not ask whether your reasons had to do with politics or politicians, in short i am not bothered why you left. Seeing as you have such a high opinion, i just wondered if you have lived in this country during the recent Labour years, or whether your views from afar, span over all the years from 79 until now.
Sorry if my polite request rattled your cage.

No, you were going to do a predictable patronising ill-informed diatribe in why I should not be voicing opinions from a far, so don't bother and please don't embarrass yourself further by posting back some statement showing mock incredulity on what I just posted.

I've seen your past posts, you a bit of a dim wit and frankly just a bore. Enough.

"you a bit of a dim wit" quote............ Fair enough. If you have seen my past posts, then you would realise that i do not have to resort to insults.
Your non committal answer and flounce leads me to believe that you may have been around for the Thatcher years (maybe old enough) but perhaps not around for the full Labour term. If you read my posts, you would realise that i have never voted Tory.......and will not vote for any of the 3 main parties.

I cannot rejoice over the death of an old woman suffering from dementia.

However, I can never forgive her orchestrated destruction of whole communities throughout the midlands and north and her willfull squandering of the wealth of the North Sea to fund massive unemployment and allowing foreign (American) companies to reap the majority of the oil benefits but most of all her creation of the continuingly devisive "I'm all right" society.

I refer you to the answer I gave in my previous post, the second paragraph.

Out of interest how old are people who refer to "reds"? Sounds like a lesson in McCarthyism from school history. Also wondering if anyone liked Thatcher and Blair seeing as many saw him as her rightful ideological heir and he was too rightwing for lots of lefties

Haha, you absolute penis.

I can't believe I just read that.

Your response to my post was "Ignorant Tosser". Then you say this. You absolute moron.

To be fair, you are of course quite correct, except that you're the moron

There was no need for that was there, "Socialist Sid".

Socialist ideals produced a pretty hefty body count over the last century. But what do I know, I am just an ignorant tosser.

A Debate no.Just a bunch of Football Supporters letting off steam and expressing passing thoughts.

Re: The truly inspirational Baroness Thatcher - RIP

Which is your right given you run the site.

However, many of us feel total joy at her demise and don't in any way feel this is disrespectful. I actually think it would be totally disrespectful not to celebrate her death. I hope she rots in hell with her mates like Pinochet, Reagan and McGregor.

I hope that one day you are intelligent enough to lament that comment.

Ok, but I just don't respect and can't celebrate the life of someone who denounced Mandela as a terrorist and supported sanction busting trade links with the racist South African government and supported Pinochet, Saddam Hussein and General Suharto.

I'll lament that comment the same day I respect Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot.

So. What will folk be doing tonight to mark this historical day? I'm off to a football match so little opportunity for me to do anything. Anyone actually cracked open a bottle of champagne yet? Or a quiet pint to mark the passing of a former leader?

Well?
