We were utter toilet. LuaLua and Barker played well, please start them on Sunday.
Bruno off the pace yet again, perhaps a knock has come at the right time.
Just utterly clueless in midfield, Ulloa has no support when we lump the ball up to him. Very frustrating and sums up our season.

It's in our DNA, midweek winter away games at far flung, half empty, grounds against teams really needing the points. We are lovers, not fighters, soft Southerners, cultured foreigners.

Sadly I didn't expect much from these games and it doesn't look good for Sunday, but then football has a habit of turning joy to dispair and also dejection to elation.

Seems too many have pinned hopes on us be ready for the Prem and are now feeling let down. Get real, we've come a long way but when we go up it'll be because we are outstanding and have a team that can go away to half empty northern grounds on a midweek winters night ...& win.

christ on a bike he has a different view to you....Poyet has been found out we have lost 2-1 to the bottom team a week after having no shots against the bottom team its just not good enough with our team

They shouldn't of got their pen, we should have scored ours. If that was the case you wouldn't be stupid, or at least not bring to the attention of everyone.

It was a completely different performance tonight to Sat. We were awful tonight and got what we deserved. It's last season all over again.

I thought Gus said we had learnt but it would appear not.

Are we just not very good on a Tuesday night? We've been poor in the 3 midweek games I've been to, and it sounds like tonight was no different. Cardiff is about the only decent result I can think of, and even that sounded as if we rode our luck somewhat.

If i remember rightly, last season at home we went into March (Derby i think) before we won on a Tues night.

Not so sure that, apart from El Abd. the continental element of the team are aware of the rivalry between us and Palarse - maybe Hammond and Crofts will be able to advise them. That said i do believe that the crowd will be behind the team and hopefully that will rub off on these players. Results like tonight are a bit of a shi**er but we just hope that Gus gets the players focused for what will be the most important make or break game this season.

Agree with that. I meant to write originally I have little doubt we WON'T be fired up for Sunday
