Me and my Missus, driving to an away game for the first time, due to a slight cock-up on the train tickets front. ???

Anyone know if it's POTG?

Has been the last 2 years, cash only, and as I found out last year the nearest cash point is all the way back in the town center.

It's an absolute dump, but a few drinks in Sheffield and a 20 minute train means i'll be there.

Didn't realise I was on a 12 hour night shift on the Friday night. Going straight up on the train from work. Nice.

I'll be there. Went up there for the last game of the season a few years back and it really does have a 60's feel about the place. My lasting memory is the long old slog over that hill to get from the ground to the station and back.

RedSpottedHanky.com still have some decent ticket prices.

A few of us have hired a box for the match as a 40th birthday celebration for Lokki 7. Really can't wait - haven't done an all-dayer like this for a long long time!

That was a dire dire game. Didn't everyone dress up as mexicans?

It's interesting that you say "lording".

You've been to Barnsley before, I take it? :lolol:

They even had to turn on the floodlights shortly after midday so the locals weren't deprived of their vitamin D top up.

No I haven't had the pleasure, it was ever so slightly tongue-in-cheek.

I've been to Grimbsy, Rotherham and Port Vale, how bad can Barnsley be?

It makes Cleethorpes look like Monte Carlo.
