All very true, but that evidently won't stop a certain pair of TOOLS on here slaughtering his contribution. Maybe the terminal baiters should give G&T a bell so thay can pass on the benefit of their peerless success in football management? Be rude not to, I'd have thought.

Tht's crap though since many people feel that yesterday's goal was a miss-hit. And even with a great shot (as in his first free kick) luck still plays a part. So that's my point - if the luck had swung the other way - with Barnes bagging two more (making 5) and KLL bagging two less (making 1), I suspect people's views would be different.

I know it didn't happen, and KLL DID score, just musing really.

Many people may think that, though I haven't heard or read anyone say it apart from this post, but I'm not sure what these people (you) are basing that on.

I just don't really see the comparison between the player who has proven he has a knack of smashing them in from outside the box and a striker that's missed a few fairly straightforward chances.

Not comparing the players though Silent Bob (and certainly not looking for an argument) just making the point that a little bit of luck either way and Barnes could be on 5 and KLL on 1 goal. Wasn't about the comparison between the players - more like luck/bad luck case studies.

Barnes has had his fair amount of chances and not converted a very high percentage. Lua Lua has. Pretty simple really...you could say if we didn't throw two points at Tranmere and last weeks lino wasn't such a fool, we would be 7 points clear. We're not - it's football.
