I thought he worked really hard tonight and was always a threat to the Dutch. Whilst he won’t fill that attacking midfield or central playmaker berth, he looks like a superb option on either flank, in defence or attack.

Understand the suggestion, but I think his best/favoured position is on the wing. He’s versatile as you’ve well shown but he’s a winger who can play midfield or full back. Rather than a full back/midfielder who could fill a hole on the wing… and I think the last thing we need now is another winger

Agreed but we do need wing backs.

He could make the right wing back position in own. If Lamptey is sold/injured.
