Your crusade against Barber is very boring. Truth is you have no idea what is going on. Do you really think the CEO is the problem? He is simply Blooms puppet, doing what he is told.

Just asking the question.

And that's what they said about Bellotti.

In - his work is the business side of things and, according to those in the know, that is getting better and the football budget, according to Bloom, is up. Needs to wind his neck in when writing his programme notes though.

The fundamental economics of the game aren't going to change, not suddenly.
And when they do change, will they change, from a fan's perspective, for the better?

So there'll always be a Barber. Even if it wasn't this Barber.
There's no guarantee a change would be an improvement.
There's no guarantee there'd even be a detectable difference.

Barber can stay. Just think the club need to look at how they recruit players. Burke has not done a good job of it. Get a manager in who is strong minded and will draw up his own list of players. Leave Barber to negotiate the deals. Job done. No need for Burke

so much this. of all the perceived problems, Barber is the last that needs addressing. after all he has delivered on his remit, keeping us to FFP.

We sticking to FFP and have passed it - Barber is doing his job. He also doesnt control the tactics, playing staff etc.

In.

Never underestimate NSC's appetite for irrelevant, possibly futile, gestures that don't actually address the problem at hand, though.
It's how we roll.

We swapped the HMS Titanic, after dodging icebergs for 20 years, for the Queen Mary II, and people are pissed off that the band on the lido deck isn't playing enough Norman Cook.

The club is more like the xfactor than a football club and it's becoming a tad tedious...Yes we passed the FFP,but would rather the club focused a bit more on the football side rather than the corperate side.Yes it's a business but a football club is more than just a bloody business.

Do we really need constant searching of scapegoats?

Barnes, Hammond, Andrews, JFC, Barber, Burke blah blah. We are a a whiney lot aren't we ?

Don't understand why this is even a question. Barber had a mandate to increase commercial opportunities and hit FFP targets: he's done both with some easy. Why would any Brighton fans want someone successful out the club?

Of all the people who might be responsible for the current situation, Barber is probably one of the least culpable, if at all. We've passed FFP and if I'm right in thinking we'd have a transfer embargo this January (I'm happy to be corrected) if we hadn't, we'd be even further up shit creek.

Should probably also add, what other CEO will constantly listen to the views of fans and will reply to every e-mail he gets sent - even at a stupid time in the morning ?

Not to mention, our revenue has increased massively under him and the way things are going - we are going to need someone like Barber to get as much money in as possible in League One.

Those who have voted no very much dont have the foggiest idea about what he does and how well he is doing it.

Lots of words defending him but the poll is even. For me that's the reason I voted the way I voted.
