I know And could have all been spared simply by looking at a weather app.

But people plan and invite others days or even weeks in advance, and to cancel at the last minute could leave others at a loose end?

Do you work dogs?

Sorry I've only just seen your post. My wife used to pick up with our lab so I kind of got into it that way. I still go beating and Mrs Kubes does working tests. Dogs a bit old now so semi retired no picking up but the odd veteran or open working test. I'm usually helping chucking dummies etc. Good fun and a nice day out.
