Working - its next weekend here!
What!!! Amazing, incredible. Who won The Derby? Oh and the Euromillions if you have them.
A nice trip to Rye Harbour (and Rye) is planned.
Every bank holiday, in memory of my grandfather, i go canal-snorkeling. I have a waterproof magnetic metal detector to collect the loose change either tossed over-barge for good luck or dropped from the pockets of secretive canal-side lovemakers, and always take behind me a pilot fish to eat the fragments of grime that cling to me having been down there long. I also let it pick out the filth from my mouth afterwards as i dip my open gob in its bowl. They can get in behind the teeth, you see. I'll then likely return home with a slight radioactive glow and tell stories to listeners of the ballasted bodies found and the murkiness of the 7ft-deep. I always throw in something horrific about a family of eels entwining me, unleashing a miniscule eddy as they circle, the strength of which doesn't quite completely entrap me and no more than spins me twice accidentally to the surface and out.
What is going on in Brighton today? Anything?
Hove Lions!
Its in Hove Park. It has fair ground rides , bouncey castles , falconry, fire engines, steam trains, book stalls, parachutists (weather permitting) and a beer tent. What more could you want?Which is what?
