Bands that used to be good but have lost the plot

U2 . She wore Lemon ? and so what if she did, what the f#$% does that mean and why should I hear about it ?? Eno is another arty farty wanker as well.

agreed about Radiohead - overblown drivel using one chord loaded with sustain, then the singer whines another tune over the top of it as if he's in childbirth . Rubbish!

oasis were always shit, it just took some people a while to realise that they were selling hype, not musical quality.

Charlatans - had a lot going for them, Stone Roses got put on hold so they had carte blanche to get on with it, but the songwriting dried up. More lazy unwashed northern monkeys that thought too much of themselves for their own good.

Did anyone see Iron Maiden on Top Of The Pops tonight?
I was never a fan in the first place, but good grief, it really was Spinal Tap & Bad News rolled into one.
With Nu-Metal & it's various permutations selling steadily who's bothering with old-metal?:nono:

Tight Fit...after 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' the follow up 'Fantasy Island' was a bit of a letdown.

Have to disagree about Sterophonics I prefer their latest album. I think Westlife are rapidly going off the boil then again they were alway shite!!:lolol:

I beg to differ on this one. The first album, simply called 'Ocean Colour Scene' was very poor.

They then changed their musical direction a bit and released 'Moseley Shoals' which was a corker of an album.

Albion, England & Britpop forever.

Mosley Shoals was class, and their first well known album. The 2 after weren't bad. The album after that was absolute pap. Latest one is better than the last one, but then again so is indigestion. That said (following a maasive aloud.com cock up which may still result in the correct ticket still not reaching me in time) I am off to see them a week Sunday, I hope they play a lot of old stuff.

Morcheeba - after Big Calm (quality) most of the stuff on their albums has been shite

Stereophonics - really gone off their stuff

Supergrass - thought their new album wasn't quite to the standard I'd grown accustomed to
