Michael Schenker Group - The Michael Schenker Group.

Their first album, and what a delight, they never really bettered that album.

My fave MSG record is the live One Night at Budokan. Closely followed by the BBC live recording of the 1982 Reading rock festival gig which previously I just happened to have on a C90 cassette recorded from the Friday Rock show.

Did you know that Michael actually lives in Brighton?

I do like the Budokan album, great showcase for his talent as a live performer.

I did know he lived in Brighton, shame that he’s not, to my knowledge, done any performances locally, I saw him in Portsmouth supporting Judas Priest in 2015 and a couple of years before that as the main act in Salisbury. Both time he was amazing. For whatever reasons I never got to see them back in the day, but I’d encourage anyone who hasn’t seen him live to do so. Next up is the Shepherds Bush Empire in April.

No I've not seen him live either and should make the effort. Being a huge Maiden fan I have heard the famous live UFO version of Doctor Doctor which they have as their intro music many times

Come across this live version recently and the tone on the intro is just awesome with that half cocked wah wah
