I wonder if big belly didn't have enough bananas as a nipper hence "big belly"?

He had enough banana's it was all the pancakes and cream which caused the problem!

If i do buy bananas its an impulse purhcase to eat there and then. i dont have the patience or foresight to buy green ones. I find if eaten too regularly, bananas become sickly.

Apparently you can pick any fruit. Is bacon a fruit? pretty sure it is.....right?

I grow a few different varieties, only for the ornamental value though.
Try the asian/oriental type grocers/supermarkets, you occasionally get something other than the starchy cavendish nanas. Lady finger and thousand finger smallish but well tasty. Get a plantain and fry it up, makes a change from pineapple on pig meat as well.
If you've got bananas going over in this nice weather, put them in a sandwich with a light sprinkle of sugar, yummy!

Funny thing. As I was eating my daily banana today, it occurred to me that the tennis players at Wimbledon have stopped munching bananas for stamina and have turned to sucking those strange bars in wrappers instead. Banana bars?

I'll just throw this out there. Bacon on the BBQ is lovely - Bananas on the BBQ are lovely.

The both of them together on the BBQ - with the Banana on top of the Bacon - is strangely one of the nicest things ive ever eaten. The salty Bacon and sweet Banana go together really well !!
