The England "band" seems to contain "musicians" capable only of playing the melody line of any tune. For me, that's what makes them sound so embarrassingly amateur.

Wembley, great Stadium, poo atmosphere! Band don't get free tickets or travel as i was talking to one of the drummers if you can call him that in Switzerland against Japan! Sitting near them was a massive headache after 8pints? they are better away than at home a bit like the side!

By contrast the welsh band were excellent. Very tuneful, a huge repertoire (esp. compared to our band) and really got their fans going.

I've grown to really dislike the band I'm afraid. It seems that if they're not playing, the crowd isn't singing. I don't like that.

I also detest the singing of the national anthem spontaneously throughout the game....

Can't say I noticed them playing on Tuesday, or maybe I've just tuned them out as they're so bad - I'd personally want my money back if I had to sit anywhere near them. I did notice that Wembley had a lot of empty seats, certainly towards the end of the game.

The atmosphere at Wembley is awful!

I went when we beat Andorra 6-0 (?) and I nearly fell asleep it was that bad.
