Show me where any sane person could vaguely think that article is racist ?

I’ll wait .
I haven’t read the article and I didn’t say it was racist. That aside, I certainly won’t be taking part in a serious conversation about Richard Littlejohn. And certainly not with you. He’s a clown.

May I also suggest that if you have time to wait, it would be better spent joining the queue for brains.

Well, you’re in luck as all of that output is banned already. You won’t hear it on the BBC.

You a bit stoopid, yeah?

Oh, just send who the OP is. Stupid and racist.

The censorship of Hip-Hop in this country goes a lot further than just banning songs on the BBC.

The Met Police get Youtube to delete drill videos, and some drill artists have been given suspended prison sentences for performing certain songs live. Now, drill is certainly a decisive sub-genre, and I’m sure most people on here would hate it... but a prison sentence for performing a song? ???

Complete and utter Rubbish . I thought Richard Littlejohn made a fair point . Oh sorry yes that must make me racist because it’s not been published in the guardian. People have different opinions on things , just because you might not agree with them doesn’t make me a racist . You need to grow up and stop thinking everything is black and white . No pun intended.

Again, the mention of the Guardian just reminds of someone else. Let me just put my finger on it. Erm..hang on,,,,it's coming...

I didn't call you a racist though, I said all those posts are examples of racial whataboutery. And they are, Littlejohn's in particular. He can't excuse the actual act people have deplored so he goes "aha, but there's also THIS", in the hope that he'll be able to insinuate hypocrisy and remove focus from the Act That Cannot Be Excused. Which is snidey.

But in Littlejohn's case he does it to keep himself in a particular lifestyle. As for those who agree with this tactic, who knows what their motivation is eh?

Whilst we appear to be in the full media glare of banning or taking down statues that are offensive to many members of the black community , is it fair and reasonable to also take the opportunity to consider banning some gangsta rap music & some grime ‘ sounds’ that are also offensive to many other people because of the way some ( not all ) depict violence and are degrading to women and sometimes other minorities like the gay community etc ?
This lot on here are more offended by Patriots ,pissing into the wind I'm afraid

Ok I think I get what your saying but I don’t agree that it’s always right to look at matters or events in isolation and not at least think about as you put it ‘ but there’s also this ‘ because many things might contribute towards an event or the reaction to it so sometimes I do think it’s sensible to try to build a broad picture rather than view something through a narrow lense.

On a slightly different point , it’s great that Stormzy has just announced a £10 m donation to help with the effects of racism . I’m not a fan of his as I don’t like rap music particularly although liked wham rap . But good for him at least he is doing good for a community that need it .

If you have the good sense to avoid political discussion with your friends, it does seem to prompt the question as to why you would post such a thread, the response to which you cannot have failed to predict?

Presumably you make the choices you do because you would rather concentrate on what unites you and your friends than prompt division just for the sake of expressing a predictable bit of whataboutism. If that's the case, are we being used as a means for you to vent opinions that could be damaging if expressed to the people you actually care about? If so, perhaps we could be charging you for this valuable service.

Or to put it another way:

On a slightly related note, I woke up to an ex-Eastenders actress calling out Ice-T on the Twatter for being a racist. Only she got her Ices mixed up and ACTUALLY meant Ice Cube.

It's alright though, because she apologised and blamed being pissed and THEN proceeded to ask if Ice-T was racist too

I mean... :dunce:
