err little lesson on footballing rivalries for you

lesson 1 the midlands

the midlands has 5 principle teams in the birmingham area they are Birmingham city, Aston villa, west brom wolves and walsall.

the rivalries are between the blues and villa because they are the 2 birmingham clubs and between west brom and wolves.

walsall don't really have a rival because compared to the other 4 clubs thay are nothing.

so "small town in walsall" is neither insulting or funny.

its like singing to brighton "you're just a small town in hove"

however small town in sandwell is where there rivals west brom are.
