It wasn't the same at all. I love the way people say that who didn't see it, dougdeep (not said in a nasty way)

The ball boy at Oldham kept offering the ball and then pulling it back. Jake managed to grab the ball and the ball boy was trying to pull it back again (still having hold of it) and Jake pushed the ball so the boy would let go. It was the ballboys fault for being daft and not doing what he should be doing, and that is returning a ball to a player. It isn't a playground for teasing players.

The result was the same though. I just don't like cheating, sorry.

I didn't see what happened yesterday but there is no way what Jake did could be remotely described as assault. Both he and the ball boy had hold of the ball and Jake didn't touch him.

I think the reason a lot of people didn't see the ball boy being pushed was because they were giving Calderwood sh!t for trying to call time out after Wilkins instructed the ballboys (via Fraser) to reduce the amount of spare balls around the pitch from 2 per quarter to 1 per quarter.

It was all very niggly towards the Forest bench, their subs were trying to wind up the crowd and Calderwood kept going out of his technical area (and calling for timeout).

I hope Forest repremand the player who pushed the ballboy, it's really not on, regardless "if" he witheld the ball too long, afterall he is only a lad and doesn't deserve to be pushed by a supposed "adult". If you saw a lad being pushed about in the street I am sure none of you would stand for it. Footballers seem to think they are untouchable in situations like this and I hope they make an example of him, remember this happened very close to the family stand - not a good example.

I believe the player also called the ball boy a little fuc*ing prick!

The boys mother was in The Sportsman after the game telling people what happened and how the player wont get away with it.

You weren't at the game then, or didn't see the incident?

I would say how would you like it if it was your son being pushed around but you probably don't even have pubes yet, yet alone kids

no he didn't he was holding the ball with his right arm and pushed the boy with his left, the boy fell backwards - The ball BOY was being daft but Jake plays for the ADULT team, he shouldn't have done it.
